CHICAGO, Nov. 1, 2016 — CCIM Institute honored Sandy G. Shindleman, CCIM, president and CEO of Shindico in Winnipeg, Canada, and Bruce Harvey, CCIM, of RE/MAX in Winnipeg, Canada, with the Susan J. Groeneveld, CCIM, Visionary Award during the organization’s Annual Governance Meetings in Atlanta, Oct. 24–28. Multiple CCIM leaders lauded Shindleman and Harvey for their vision, dedication, and efforts to promote CCIM Institute globally.

The Shindico Building received the BOMA TOBY (The Building of the Year) for best office building under 100,000 SF as well as the 2016 Earth Award for best office building under 100,000 SF. The Outstanding Building of the Year is a prestigious award that recognizes quality in commercial real estate building and excellence in building management.

Shindico Realty Inc. and the Boston Pizza Group were once again proud to show their support at the annual Rossbrook House Children's Christmas Party on December 15, 2015. A fun time was had by all with plenty of pizza, smiling and happy children and a visit with Santa Claus. Musical entertainment was provided by Leanne Pearson. Shindico is pleased to announce that the Reenders Drive extension opened to traffic today, Thursday, December 3, 2015. The new road extension, located in front of Shindico’s Shops of Kildonan Mile development, is part of a multi-million dollar investment in infrastructure in West Transcona. Four lanes are now completed on Reenders Drive, extending the road from Stapon Road to Peguis Street. A further two lanes will be constructed in 2016. LDS (Land drainage system) has also been installed, sufficient to serve the road, and adjacent developments.

BOMA BEST^® is the Canadian industry standard for commercial building sustainability certification and the only certification program of its kind in Canada.
